Structure

Oxford Creative Connections Inc. is governed by the Oxford Cultural Roundtable. The Roundtable is defined as a strategic leadership group with members drawn from the cultural community, local government (elected official and staff), the business community (including tourism), the community college, and other community interests.

Working groups may be struck to address specific actions and priorities. Members of the working groups can include members of the roundtable but more importantly draw on the knowledge of interested members of the community. Each working group will have a member of the cultural roundtable as a contact person to the roundtable.

Oxford Creative Connections Roundtable Structure

The makeup of the roundtable includes;

• A Chairperson, selected by the members of the group;
  
  
• 11 Voting Community Members - which would include 2 from each of the 3 "urban" municipalities, 3 from the rural townships (including representation from both north and south ends of the county) and 2 members at large ;
  
  
• 2 resource people (staff) - invited as needed and may come from the county, municipality, community organizations, provincial government etc.;
  
  
• Warden and Deputy Warden - or as designated;
  
  
• Administrative support;
  
  
• Cultural Coordinator.
  
  

Organization and sectors:

The members of the roundtable are responsible for representing all sectors including children and youth, horticulture and natural heritage, performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, heritage, festivals and events, and commercial/retail cultural activity/BIA/Chamber.
